Given : Perimeter of a wall = 64 feet
Ratio of length to height = 3:5.
Let the length be 3x and breadth be 5x
Perimeter = 2 ( l + b)
Substituting the values of l and b in above formula
2 ( 3x + 5x) = 64
2 (8x) = 64
16x = 64
x = 4
Thus length of wall = 3x =3 (4) = 12feet
Breadth of wall = 5x = 5(4) = 20feet
Area of wall = l b = 12 20 = 240 
Thus, the area of wall is 240sqft.
