Question
Find the perimeter and area of the outer court.
Hint:
Given , the side lengths of the rectangular court.
Find the perimeter and area of the rectangular outer court.
The correct answer is: The perimeter of the court is 276 ft and the area of the court is 4680 sq. ft
ANS :- The perimeter of the court is 276 ft and the area of the court is 4680 sq. ft .
Explanation :-
Given , length and breadth of the rectangular courtare 78 ft and 60 ft respectively.
L = 78 ft and B = 60 ft
Perimeter of rectangle = 2(L + B) = 2(78+60) = 2(138) = 276 ft
Area of rectangle = L × B = 78 × 60 = 4680 sq. ft
∴The perimeter of the court is 276 ft and the area of the court is 4680 sq.ft .
