The origin of Case Western University dates back to 1826. Admission Requirements
Students are not asked to send their official transcripts or test scores. When the respective department recommends the application of the students, the final decision is made by the School of Graduate Studies. When the application is formally accepted, the student is asked to send test scores and transcripts.
The student has to send TOEFL or GRE scores through ETS using 1105 as the institutional code for Case Western Reserve University. Students need not send the official IELTS score as it can be verified by the university online. During the review of the admission process, applicants have to upload their scores. The respective institution must send the official transcripts. If documents are there in other languages other than English, they must have English translation and be certified.

Full standing
- The applicant must have a B-average score in the upper third of graduate courses in an institution whose programs are assessed by certified authorities.
- Documents needed are degree verification, official transcripts, recommendation letter, and IELTS or TOEFL scores. Some departments require scores of GRE, MAT, or GMAT.
Provisional Standing
Those, who do not have good academic scores, are not given full-standing admission. They get provisional standing admission. These students are supposed to meet the performance standard of the school, and their records are reviewed each semester.
Conditional Standing
Students who have missing documents are given conditional standing admission. All these documents must reach the office of Case Western Reserve University on time. Otherwise, students cannot register for the particular course.
