The College of Holy Cross was founded in 1843 in Worcester, Massachusetts. It is best known for its four years of undergraduate courses in liberal arts. College of the Holy Cross – An Overview
College of the Holy Cross offers 4-year undergraduate courses in 35 disciplines, including English, Psychology, Economics, Political Science, and others. There are about 328 full and part-time faculty members in this college. Many of these faculty members have doctorate degrees. The College of the Holy Cross campus is known as “The Hill” because it is located by the side of Mt. St. James. The entire complex has nine chaplains, a hockey ground, a lacrosse stadium, and a campus activity center. There are more than 100 organizations and clubs within the College of the Holy Cross Campus. Through these clubs, students can participate in various co-curricular and sports activities. Students learn new skills, build up self-confidence, and learn teamwork through these extra activities. The largest student organization of this college, SPUD(Student Programs for Urban Development), has 700+ members and is associated with 46+ community organizations and schools.

Out of a total of 6498 applicants for the class of 2025, the accepted applicants were 2,786, which makes it a 43% acceptance rate. The percentage of students enrolled is 29%. 87% of students stay in on-campus accommodations. The first-year retention rate is 7%. The average class size in 2020-21 was 19.
College of the Holy Cross Admission
During the admission process, the College of the Holy Cross checks if you are good at academics. You must have taken 4-years classroom courses in these core subjects in your high school. The core subjects are English, social science, laboratory science, a foreign language, and mathematics. Each application is reviewed and evaluated to ensure the most deserving get admission. In addition to the grades, the college also checks the different activities, accomplishments, and talents of the students in their high school. Generally, interviews are not needed for admission, but students can schedule one.

College of the Holy Cross has two application deadlines for international students.

The Early decision deadline is on 15th November, and the Regular Decision deadline is on 15th January. International students have to pay an application fee of USD 60.
Admission requirements for international students are:
- Submit high school transcripts
- Two academic letters of recommendation-one from the school counselor and another from the teacher
- The scores of English proficiency tests.
- IELTS score of more than 7
- TOEFL-iBT score more than 100
- Duolingo English Test score of 120
- ACT or SAT scores are optional
- The applicant must have completed the international interview request form.
- Supplementary materials that show the achievements and special talents of the candidate. For example, creative writing, research work, recorded performances, artwork, etc.
- Holy Cross Certification of Finances Form.
- Financial Affidavit or a bank letter.
An interview is not required for College of the Holy Cross admission, but it is highly recommended.
