The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is an annual exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). NTA NEET 2021 Exam Result
The marking scheme followed by NTA in NEET 2021 exam is as follows:
- For every correct answer, 4 marks are rewarded.
- For every wrong answer, 1 mark is deducted.
- No mark is deducted for un attempted questions and marking more than 1 option.
- Total marks= 10 MCQs * 4 = 720 marks.

After the result declaration, a merit list is declared as per the directives of the Supreme Court of India, Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Medical Council of India (MCI), and Dental Council of India (DCI). The features of this list are as follows:
- It’s a centralized list for all the qualifying candidates of the NEET 2021 exam and a category-wise difference isn’t available on this list.
- This list is prepared for the seats considering 15% quotas under the All India Quota for MBBS and BDS degrees.
- The different states then prepare their own list based on the All India Rank and category of the student.
