We have to find the property applied in the problem 3(10 + 4) = 30 + 12.
We can solve 3(10 + 4) by multiplying 3 by 10 and 3 by 4 which can be written as 3
10 + 34.
On further solving 310 + 34 we get,
310 + 34
= 30+12
