When Jolly was 14, she grew $1 third$ of an inch, when she was 15 , she grew $1 third$ of an inch and when she was 16, she grew $2 over 3$ of an inch. In total , Jolly grew ________ inches during those three years

$1 \frac{1}{3}$ inches

hint Hint:

Add the height she gained in each of these 3 years to find the answer.

The correct answer is: $1 1 third$ inches

$1 third plus 1 third plus 2 over 3 equals fraction numerator 1 plus 1 plus 2 over denominator 3 end fraction equals 4 over 3 equals 1 1 third$

Do not forget to convert the answer into mixed fraction at the end.
