Question

Madhan can submit 13 files in the first hour and 21 files in the second hour. What is the total number of files he can give in both the hours?

  1. 43
  2. 34
  3. 82
  4. 67

hintHint:

In this question, we have to find the number of files submitted in two hours if in 1st hour 13 files were submitted and in 2nd hour 21 files were submitted. we will have to add both the numbers given as we have to find the total number.

The correct answer is: 34

number of files submitted in 1st hour = 13
number of files submitted in 2nd hour =21
The number of files Madhan can submit in both hours
= number of files submitted in 1st hour + number of files submitted in 2nd hours
    = 13 + 21
    = 34 files
