Question
Describe the pattern in the numbers 9.001, 9.010, 9.019, 9.028, ... and write the next three numbers in the pattern.
The correct answer is: The next three terms are 9.037, 9.046, 9.055.
We have given the number series 9.001, 9.010, 9.019, 9.028,
If we subtract a term from its next term we get
9.010 – 9.001 = 0.009
9.019 – 9.010 = 0.009
9.028 – 9.019 = 0.009
Therefore we conclude that the difference between two consecutive terms is 0.009
Therefore, the next 3 terms will be
9.028 + 0.009 = 9.037
9.037 + 0.009 = 9.046
9.046 + 0.009 = 9.055
The next three terms are 9.037, 9.046, 9.055.
Therefore we conclude that the difference between two consecutive terms is 0.009
Therefore, the next 3 terms will be
The next three terms are 9.037, 9.046, 9.055.
