Question
Rewrite (7.7.7.7 + 5.5.5 -3.3.3) in simplest form using exponents:
- (74 + 53 -33)
- (47 +53 +33)
- (75 + 53 -33)
- (47 -53 -33)
Hint:
We have to write the given question in exponent form.
The correct answer is: (74 + 53 -33)
The given value is
(7.7.7.7 + 5.5.5 - 3.3.3)
When we have am an = am+n
Here we have 7.7.7.7=71+1+1+1
=74
5.5.5 = 51+1+1
= 53
3.3.3 = 31+1+1
= 33
So, (7.7.7.7+5.5.5-3.3.3) = (74 + 53 -33)
Sometimes if the power is not one, we have to be careful while adding that.
