Question
Tell whether the given image represents a polygon. If it is not, explain why. If it is a polygon, tell whether it is convex of concave.
Hint:
- A polygon is said to be convex if all the interior angles of the polygon are less than 180 degrees
- A polygon is said to be concave if one or more than one interior angle of the polygon is greater than 180 degrees.
The correct answer is: It is convex polygon
- We have been given a figure in the question bounded by four lines for which we have to find whether it is a polygon or not.
- We also have to state reasons for the same if it is a polygon then whether it is concave or convex polygon and if it is not then we will have to state reasons for it.
Step 1 of 1:
We have given a figure
The given figure is a polygon, because it is a closed two dimensional figure.
Since, All angles of this polygon is less than 1800
So, It is convex polygon.
