The correct answer is: △ ABC ⩭ △ EBD by ASA congruence criterion
Consider 2 triangles, △ and △ EBD
From the figure, we have
AB = EB (given)
∠ABC = ∠EBD (given)
∠ACB = ∠EDB (given)
By angle sum property,
Now, ∠CAB = 180°- (∠ABC + ∠ACB)
∠DEB = 180°- (∠EBD + ∠EDB) = 180° - (∠ABC + ∠ACB)
⇒ ∠ CAB = ∠DEB
So, In △ ABC and △ EBD
∠CAB = ∠DEB (proved)
AB = EB (given)
∠ABC = ∠EBD (given)
So, △ ABC ⩭ △ EBD by ASA congruence criterion
