An acrostic poem is one in which certain letters of each line spell out a word or phrase.

The word or phrase can be a name or anything.

How to write an acrostic?

The following steps can be followed to write an acrostic.

1. Decide what to write about.
2. Write down the word vertically.
3. Think and find out words that describe your idea.
4. Now, write down these words on the lines that begin with the same letters.
5. Fill up the rest of the lines to create a poem.
