Acrostic Poem
An acrostic poem is one in which certain letters of each line spell out a word or phrase.
Usually, the first letters of each line are used to spell out a word or phrase.
The word or phrase can be a name or anything.
The first letter of each line is capitalized to make it easier to see and spell the word vertically down.
Acrostics need not have any rhyme or rhythm. The lines can be short or long.
For example: Moving to the rhythm and
Using my body to express myself
Singing with joy whilst
I feel the music flow through me
Carelessly dancing the night away.
We can make acrostics using our names or anything we like.
For example: Artistic
Lovable
Young
Silly
Energetic
