Here we have to find the partial product of 60 x 21. So here we are using the concept of partial product. We will multiply it parts and add them the all the parts.

The correct answer is: 1,260


    Here we have to find the partial product of 60 x 21.
    First, we write the first number 60 which written as 60 and 0, [ 60 because 6 it is at tens place , 0 is at ones place]
    And so , the other number 21 which written down as 20 and 1 . [ 20 because 2 it at tens place , 1 at ones place]
    So there are two term each having two number tens and ones.
    Firstly multiply first number tens digit with second number both tens digit and one digit.
    And , multiply second number of tens digit and ones digit with first number ‘s one digit partially.
    Now , we multiply first ,
    60 x 20 = 1200 [multiply tens digit of multiplier with tens digit of multiplicand]
    60 x 1= 60 [multiply tens digit of multiplier with ones digit of multiplicand]
    20 x 0 = 0 [multiply tens digit of multiplier with ones digit of multiplicand]
    0 x 1 = 0 [ multiply ones digit of multiplier with one digit of multiplicand]
    Now add all the partial product of find the solution.
    60 x 21 = 1200 + 60 + 0 + 0
    60 x 21 = 1260
    The correct answer is 1260 (option (b)).
