Question

Find straight angle P R Q in the below figure.

hintHint:

using the sum of angles on a straight line find the value of ∠ QPR  .Now, using the exterior angle property Find ∠PRQ .

The correct answer is: ∠ PRQ = 65°

    Step 1 :- Find  ∠QPR

∠ QPR  +  ∠RPS = 180° (sum of angles on the straight line)

    ∠ QPR + 135° = 180° (given , ∠ RPS = 135°)

    ∠ QPR = 180°-135° = 45°

    ∠ QPR = 45°
    Step 2:-  Find ∠PRQ
We  know that in a triangle, the exterior angle is always equal to the sum of the interior opposite angles.

    ∠ QPR  +  ∠ PRQ  =  ∠ PQT

    given ,∠ RPS = 110° and we got ∠ QPR = 45°

    45°  +  ∠ PRQ = 110°

    ∠PRQ = 110°- 45° = 65°

    ∴∠PRQ = 65°
