Question
Find the perimeter and area of the given photo frame.
Hint:
Given , the side lengths of the rectangular photo frame . Find the perimeter and area of rectangular photo frame
The correct answer is: The perimeter of the photo frame is 16m and the area of the photo frame is 15 sq. m.
ANS :- The perimeter of the photo frame is 16m and the area of the photo frame is 15 sq. m.
Explanation :-
Given, length and breadth of rectangular photo frame are 5 m and 3 m respectively.
L = 5 m and B = 3 m
Perimeter of rectangle = 2(L + B) = 2(5 + 3) = 2(8) = 16 m
Area of rectangle = L × B = 5 × 3 = 15 sq. m
∴The perimeter of the photo frame is 16m and the area of the photo frame is 15 sq. m
