The base of a parallelogram is thrice of its height .If the area of the parallelogram is 2187 sq.cm , find its height .
Hint:
Given , the base of the parallelogram is thrice the height . find the relation and
use in the formula area of parallelogram = base × height
The correct answer is: 27cm
Ans :- 27 cm
Explanation :-given area of parallelogram = 2187 sq.cm
Step 1:-find the relation between height and base
Let height be h
Given , the base of the parallelogram is thrice the height i.e base = 3h.
Step 2:- Find the area of Parallelogram
Area of parallelogram = base × height = 3h × h = 3h2
Therefore, the height of the parallelogram = 27 cm.
