Question
Find the value of x y and z from the given figure.
Hint:
using the sum of angles in a triangle find the value of X , using the sum of angles on a straight line find
the value of Z .Now ,using the sum of angles in a triangle find the value of Y.
The correct answer is: ∠ X = 38° , ∠ Y = 64° and ∠ Z = 96°
Step 1 :- Find X
∠ X + 58° + 84°= 180°(sum of angles in triangle)
∠ X = (180 - 142 )° = 38°
∴∠ X = 38°
Step 2:- Find Z
∠ Z + 84°= 180°(sum of angles on a straight line)
∠ Z = 180° -84° = 96°
∴∠ Z = 96°
Step 3:- Find Y
∠ Z + ∠ Y + 20°= 180°(sum of angles in triangle )
∠ Y = 180 - (20+96) = (180-116)° = 64°
∴ ∠ Y = 64°
Step 2:- Find Z
Step 3:- Find Y
