The correct answer is: r not equal to p


    f(x) = − px + q − rx, x ≤ 0
    = − px + q + rx,0 < x < fraction numerator q over denominator p end fraction
    = px + q + rx, fraction numerator q over denominator p end fraction less than x

    thus, f has two points of minimum if r = p.
    In case p ¹ r, then x = 0 is pt. of minimum if r > p and x equals fraction numerator q over denominator p end fraction is pt. of minimum if r < p.
